Group Breathwork with Jennifer
Friday, October 17th from 7-8:30PM
This is a practice that uses active, conscious, connected breathing to music to help connect with your body, mind and soul. This class will help to expand the capacity of the lungs, releasing tension in the muscles involved in breathing and can reduce stress, anxiety and increase energy. This class is for anyone who wants to breathe better, release stress and increase their capacity of breath.

Birth Prep 101 with Christine Brown
Sunday, October 26th from 2-4:30PM
Join Christine, certified lactation counsellor and childbirth educator for a comprehensive class covering labour, birthing techniques, pain management and more. We will also cover early latch, positioning, FAQs and infant feeding problem solving. $75/person (partners welcome).

Functional Pilates Training - Hosted by the Yoga Barn

This training is for anyone who wants to help others become more mindful of their bodies—and stay strong and flexible for life.
We’re committed to supporting our future teachers in leading multi-level classes. During the training, you’ll learn how to modify exercises safely and effectively for different populations, including:
Seniors
People recovering from injuries
Postpartum clients (with medical clearance)
Here’s what you need to know:
Registration closes October 16th or when we reach 10 participants—whichever comes first. We’re keeping it small to ensure a high-quality, personalized experience.
Training Schedule:
Dates: November 7th to 9th
Time: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM daily
Lunch Break: 12:00 – 12:30 PM
Each day starts with a Hot Pilates Session, followed by lectures in:
Anatomy
Classical Pilates movements (the originals by Joseph Pilates)
Modifications for different bodies
Breathing techniques, posture, alignment, and use of props
Business of Pilates ( how and where to start)
Practice Teaching & Feedback
Additional Requirements:
Online Basic Anatomy Course by Eva Hamilton (available for a limited time)
Pre-training reading (details will be provided after registration)
Training Hours: 40 hours in-person + 5 hours basic anatomy + 5 hours practice teaching
